He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University, China after which he was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at University College Dublin, Ireland, where he focused on continuous crystallization. In the 9 years he has been with APC, he has led a wide range of commercial projects focusing on particle engineering through batch and continuous processing.
