We are delighted to welcome committee members from The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology Centre (PMTC) to our headquarters in Cherrywood today 3rd June 2016.
The PMTC community includes multi-national pharmaceutical companies; service providers; indigenous companies and start-ups; higher education institutes and national research centres. Companies access PMTC to create projects and execute world beating industry relevant research in advanced technology solutions to address contemporary manufacturing issues.
The core competence of the centre is currently delivering solutions in advanced rapid micro-analytical techniques; Enabling and control of continuous processing; Soft sensor modelling tools and API real time release.
The vision of the PMTC is to make Ireland the global hub of pharmaceutical process innovation & advanced manufacturing through applied research into advanced technology solutions.
Today we discussed research themes in the PMTC such as Continuous Processing, Modelling and Chemometrics and the development of new cleaning technologies and methodologies. It was an excellent day & thank you to all who attended the meetings & our lab tours.
