What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

From time to time, we have Contact Forms on our site for various events/meetings. When data is submitted through these forms it is stored on the WP Form database. This data is stored and processed in order to deal with your query/request and is not used for any other reasons, unless explicitly stated by yourself.

Cookies

This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. We use cookies to retain user preferences and to provide anonymised tracking data to the third party application Google Analytics. As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. We suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles and pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We currently track anonymised data for Google Analytics. This allows us to monitor our website’s performance and make any necessary changes. This anonymised data automatically expires from Google Analytics after 26 months of inactivity. For more information on Google Analytics, click here or visit Google’s privacy policy here.

Newsletter

When signing up for our newsletter, your data is held in our email marketing database (MailChimp). MailChimp has operated under the EU/US and Swiss Safe Harbour Frameworks since 2007, with its certification being awarded annually. For more information on MailChimp, see their privacy policy here. You can, at any time, request to unsubscribe from our email database and have your records permanently deleted. Please contact us at the following email address to do so: innovate@approcess.com

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with any 3rd parties outside of the previously referenced situations. At no point do we sell your data to any parties, for any reasons.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a message via a Contact Form, we will hold onto your data as long as the query necessitates, allowing for further follow-up if needed. In the case of our newsletter, we do not hold onto data of subjects who have not opened an email by us in the previous 2 years.

What rights you have over your data

You have the right to request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. You also have the right to view any personal data we hold about you. Both of these actions can be requested by contacting us on our website or by email at innovate@approcess.com.
